The Administration for Community Living is hosting the first meetings of the advisory councils established by the Recognize, Assist, Include, Support and Engage (RAISE) Family Caregivers Act and the Supporting Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (SGRG) Act.
The National Indian Council on Aging (NICOA) grew out of the First National Indian Conference on Aging in 1976. Its board of directors represented Indian tribes and tribal elders from across the country.
